Using a thermal infrared
camera, our trained and
certified thermographers are
able to find anomalies in
composite built vessels.
Infrared Energy travels at a
wavelength similar to radar and
microwaves. Our highly
sensitive equipment detects
this energy and converts it to a digital
image.
Infrared can show a multitude of
characteristics which are invisible to the
naked eye. Some of these anomalies are
delamination and moisture present in
composite materials.
A large number of images, both infrared
and digital are supplied to you along with a
full report with analysis of these images.
We Inspect For:
- Delamination
- Moisture Intrusion
- Before and After Repair
- Extent of Damage
- Verify Structural Integrity
- Define boundaries of damage
- Dry areas on resin infused hulls
Infrared Imaging is the best way to inspect
Carbon Fiber built vessels. A moisture
meter cannot work on Carbon Laminates.
